Role Description We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager with proven experience in acquiring and managing SME clients in the B2B sector, specifically for Warehousing and Transportation services. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network and prior experience working with a leading supply chain or 3PL company, and will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and account development. Key Responsibilities: New Business Development: Identify, approach, and convert SME clients across industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, electronics, consumer goods) for warehousing, distribution, and logistics services. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (supply chain heads, logistics managers, procurement leads) within the SME segment. Tailored Solutions Selling: Understand specific client needs and propose relevant warehousing and transportation solutions—including shared/leased warehouse models, last-mile delivery, inventory management, etc. Sales Strategy Execution: Implement regional sales plans and initiatives to achieve assigned targets, pipeline growth, and market share expansion. Commercial Negotiations: Lead contract discussions including pricing, SLAs, and service terms in alignment with internal margin and compliance requirements. Industry Networking: Leverage existing industry contacts and actively participate in local business events, trade shows, and SME-focused networking forums. Coordination with Operations: Work closely with warehousing, transport, and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding, implementation, and service delivery for new accounts. Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client engagements using CRM tools. Submit regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.
