As a Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in smart water and gas metering solutions in the NCR region, your role will involve engaging with clients, partners, and internal teams to drive sales initiatives and expand the market. Immediate joiners with established industry relationships are preferred for this critical position. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and secure new business opportunities for smart water and gas metering solutions in North India, focusing on water utilities and CGD companies. - Lead sales initiatives and account management efforts in the smart metering or utilities sector. - Prepare and submit bids, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and handle contract documentation proficiently. - Utilize superior negotiation skills to manage relationships with utility stakeholders effectively. - Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing persuasive presentations and clear reporting. - Engage face-to-face with clients and partners on-site in Noida to foster strong business relationships. Qualifications Required: - Possess 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, and account management within the smart metering or utilities sector. - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Energy); an MBA or management qualification is considered a plus. - Have expertise in IoT, business development, sales, bids, RFPs, documentation, negotiation, communication, and relationship management.
