Business Development Manager – Inside Sales
About the job
We are seeking an experienced and well-connected Business Development Manager – Inside Sales to drive revenue growth across key verticals including Retail, Manufacturing, Trading & Contracting, BFSI and Real Estate. This mid-senior level role is ideal for professionals who possess a strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and have an established network of industry contacts. The primary responsibility will be to develop, manage, and close new business opportunities through remote sales channels such as phone, video conferencing, and email. Key Responsibilities - Leverage an existing network of contacts to generate high-quality business leads. - Initiate and manage outbound communications (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to engage decision-makers and influencers. - Conduct virtual meetings and product/service presentations tailored to specific industries (Retail, Manufacturing, Contracting, BFSI & Real Estate). - Qualify leads, identify client pain points, and recommend solutions aligned with business needs. - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities with accurate forecasting. - Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to deliver customized client proposals and close deals. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. - Maintain CRM records and provide regular reporting on activities and outcomes. - Represent the company at virtual or in-person networking events, if required. Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. - 4–7 years of proven experience in B2B inside sales, business development, or client acquisition roles. - Demonstrated success in selling to clients in Retail, Manufacturing, Trading & Contracting, or Real Estate sectors. - Strong existing network of industry contacts and decision-makers. - Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Proficient in using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot). - Self-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Experience in India & MEA market is preferred. Preferred Skills - Industry-specific knowledge of market trends, client buying behaviour, and regulatory landscapes. - Ability to create and present high-impact sales decks and proposals. - Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling approaches. - Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment. - Immediate joiner or maximum 20 days of notice period.
