Key Responsibilities • Act as the finance point of contact for designated business units, supporting performance reviews and driving financial accountability. • Partner with delivery and sales teams to track and manage financial performance of ongoing projects (T&M, fixed price, and recurring models). • Support preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly management reports covering revenue, margins, utilization, costs, and trends. • Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at BU, account, and project levels. • Co-own the financial plan of the business unit along with the business head. • Lead revenue governance including forecasting, revenue recognition, contracting support, and client interactions for deal closures. • Lead margin governance through cost optimization, sustainable cost controls, rate improvements, and profitability analysis. • Drive working capital governance including unbilled reduction, timely invoicing collections, debt aging, and PDD improvements. • Support commercial structuring and deal pricing in coordination with senior finance leadership. • Identify cost optimization opportunities and provide actionable financial insights to business stakeholders. • Develop and manage MIS for the business unit including sales performance tracking, dashboards, KPIs, and analytics (Excel, Power BI, internal tools). • Contribute to internal financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies. • Liaise with shared service teams (AR, AP, Controllership) to resolve issues impacting business unit P&L. • Prepare materials for internal business reviews and leadership meetings. • Manage internal stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams. Critical Success Attributes • Strong communication, execution cadence, and resilience • “Can-do” attitude with a fast-learning curve Required Qualifications • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputed institute • 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the IT/ITeS industry • Big 4 experience or similar consulting exposure will be an added advantage • Strong understanding of P&L management, project financials, and commercial constructs in IT services • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI or other analytics tools is a plus • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities Preferred Attributes • Exposure to global delivery models, multi-currency contracts, or large enterprise clients • Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments • Inclination towards automation and improving financial processes through tools Career Path: This role offers exposure to strategic finance partnering and can lead Senior roles in business finance, FP&A, or commercial finance over time.
