Business Finance Manager – Supply Chain

About the job

We’re looking ... for someone who is highly analytical, ownership-driven, and excited to drive financial visibility and cost efficiency across the supply chain, working closely with operations, procurement, and leadership to improve unit economics and support scalable growth. Responsibilities: 1. Supply Chain Cost Management - Track and analyze food cost, packaging cost, wastage, and yield variance - Build SKU-level cost models for menu items - Identify cost leakage across procurement, production, and store operations - Partner with procurement team on vendor negotiations and price benchmarking 2. Inventory & Working Capital - Monitor inventory turns, ageing, and shrinkage - Implement stock reconciliation frameworks across warehouses and kitchens - Build dashboards for inventory days and working capital utilization 3. Unit Economics & Contribution Margin - Own store-level contribution margin analysis - Analyze impact of supply chain decisions on gross margin and order profitability - Evaluate cost implications of new SKUs, packaging formats, and menu changes 4. Network Expansion Support - Support financial evaluation of new warehouses, kitchens, and logistics routes - Build models for last-mile delivery cost optimization 5. Budgeting & Forecasting - Own supply chain cost budgeting - Build rolling forecasts for COGS, logistics cost, last-mile costs, and kitchen operating expenses 6. Process & Controls - Build systems to track wastage, production yield, and vendor performance - Ensure financial controls across inventory movement Ideal Candidate: - 0-2 years experience in business finance, supply chain finance, or consulting - Strong Excel / SQL / data analysis capability - Experience in FMCG, food, retail, or quick commerce preferred - Ability to partner with operations teams and drive cost discipline - Highly analytical with strong ownership mindset.
