CAE / CAX Developer

About the Role We are looking for a CAE / CAX Developer with strong hands-on experience in CAD / CAE design, automation, and customization using tools like CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Hypermesh, Ansys, Nastran, LS-Dyna, and scripting languages. This role involves developing automation solutions, troubleshooting issues, and supporting engineering applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and customize CAD / CAE applications using CAA, CATScript, NX Open, TCL-TK, PCL, Ansys APDL. • Automate design workflows and integrate with PLM systems. • Troubleshoot and resolve engineering application issues; ensure SLA adherence. • Collaborate with global IT teams to maintain CAD / CAE environments. • Work on Agile methodology and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Required Skills • Strong experience in CAD / CAE tools (CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, Hypermesh, Ansys). • Proficiency in CAA, CATScript, NX Open, TCL-TK, PCL, VB.Net, C#, C++. • Knowledge of Agile methodology and cloud platforms. Qualifications • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. • 5–12 years of experience in CAD / CAE automation and customization. Please note: These positions are not fully remote. Selected candidates will be required to work from an Infosys office near their current location.
