Role Summary The Catalogue & E-commerce Data Manager is the definitive owner of all product information, responsible for the end-to-end data lifecycle, from supplier acquisition and validation to multi-channel deployment (online B2B platform, external marketplaces, and print/offline catalogues). This role is critical for ensuring data accuracy, price integrity, and maximum product visibility across all selling channels. • Location: Gurugram, haryana • Working hours: 10 AM - 7 PM. • Offered Salary range: ₹25,000 - ₹40,000 Key Roles & Responsibilities The responsibilities are structured across four main pillars: Supplier Relations, Data Management, Channel Distribution, and Analysis. 1. Supplier Relations & Data Collection • Supplier Onboarding: Serve as the primary contact point for new and existing suppliers regarding product data requirements and submission standards. • Data Acquisition: Proactively manage and execute the process of collecting initial and updated product databases from suppliers, including specifications, compliance documents, technical drawings, and high-resolution images. • Database Creation: Establish and maintain a comprehensive Supplier Database, tracking contact information, data submission frequency, product lines, and performance metrics related to data quality. 2. Product Data Management & Creation • Product Price List Management: Prepare, maintain, and validate all product pricing sheets, ensuring accuracy across different tiers (e.g., MSRP, B2B negotiated pricing, tiered discounts) and managing regular price updates. • Data Normalization: Clean, standardize, and enrich raw supplier data to comply with the platform's internal taxonomy, naming conventions, and attribute standards. • Online Catalogue Creation: Develop the final, e-commerce-ready product catalogue, ensuring compelling titles, detailed descriptions, proper categorization, and effective use of attributes for filtering. • Offline Catalogue Preparation: Coordinate the creation and maintenance of the Offline Product Catalogue (Print), providing accurate data and price lists to design/marketing teams for publication. 3. Channel Distribution & Visibility • Primary Platform Upload: Execute the mass import, mapping, and continuous maintenance of the product catalogue within the primary B2B platform's PIM (Product Information Management) or CMS system. • Multi-Platform Distribution: Manage the necessary data feeds (e.g., CSV, XML, API) for uploading and syncing the product catalogue to different B2B and external e-commerce platforms/marketplaces (e.g., Amazon Business, specialized B2B industry sites). • Product Visibility Check: Conduct regular audits of all selling channels to ensure products are correctly displayed, searchable, categorized, and have optimal content (images, descriptions) to maximize visibility and SEO performance. 4. Performance & Quality Assurance • Data Integrity: Implement rigorous QA processes to achieve a high score in data quality, checking for errors, broken links, missing assets, and compliance issues. • Performance Monitoring: Analyze internal site search data and external platform performance metrics to identify gaps in the catalogue (e.g., missing keywords, attributes) and drive continuous catalogue improvement.
