About the Role As the Category Marketing Manager – Bakery, you will be at the forefront of shaping and scaling the Bakery category of the brand. This strategic role blends category ownership, market intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration to fuel innovation and drive growth. You'll work closely with Sales, R&D, and strategic customers to develop and implement initiatives that deepen brand's relevance and leadership in the bakery space. Key Responsibilities - Category Growth & Strategy - Analyze category sales data to evaluate performance and identify growth levers. - Assess the brand's market positioning and define a growth roadmap tailored to bakery category dynamics. - Spot gaps and opportunities in key customer accounts to drive strategic engagement and expansion. - Pipeline Development - Champion customer-led initiatives that expand the innovation pipeline. - Drive alignment between Sales and R&D teams to ensure timely execution of projects. - Project & Stakeholder Management - Lead coordination for innovation days and key account meetings. - Develop compelling sales pitches and train Sales teams for impactful customer engagement. - Innovation & Portfolio Building - Identify whitespace in the market and guide the development of new products aligned with trends and consumer needs. - Collaborate with R&D to build a forward-looking pitch portfolio to unlock new customer segments. You Should Have - 4–7 years of experience in category marketing, preferably in food, bakery, or FMCG. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from sales and market data. - Experience collaborating cross-functionally across R&D, Sales, and Marketing. - An eye for innovation and understanding of consumer trends. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
