Job Description Job Title: Chief Finance Officer (CFO) – Corporate Location: Pune (Corporate Role) CTC Range: 30-40 LPA Reporting to: CEO About the Company An Engineering & Manufacturing Organization serving 30+ companies globally in the precision machining domain. Through their diversified portfolio, the key industry verticals they work with globally for precision machined components and assemblies manufacturing, include – - Aerospace & Defence – Critical components and assemblies for aerospace and defence applications such as artillery guns, long and medium range surface-to-air missiles, indigenous rocket launchers and bridging systems. - Oil & Gas + Valves – We have developed more than 3000 different types of components, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for Completion Tools, Subsea and Surface. - Flow Control & Measurement – Comprehensive solutions for precision-machined components for low-pressure vacuum, gas, air, and fluid flow control components suitable for a wide array of applications. - Food & Dairy Machinery – Precision machined castings and components for food & dairy equipment - Hydraulics – Cylinders & rods, manifold blocks, pistons, covers, clamps, components for motors, pumps, fittings, and hose hardware. - Electromechanical Equipment – Components and assemblies of kinetic energy storage systems, aircraft ground power systems, frequency converters and naval power supplies. Role Overview The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the corporate finance function overseeing P&L management, cash flow, working capital optimization, budgeting, and long-term financial strategy for the organization. The CFO will be responsible for financial controls, statutory compliance, audits, taxation, MIS reporting, investor relations, and supporting business expansion and profitability improvement initiatives. The role plays a critical part in strategic decision-making and governance at the corporate level. The CFO will have to look after HO Pune Plant & facility along with new Nasik Plant (under development) Key Responsibilities - Financial Strategy & P&L Leadership - Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with business growth strategy. - Manage overall P&L performance across multiple manufacturing locations. - Improve profitability through cost analysis, pricing strategies, and financial modelling. - Cash Flow & Working Capital Management - Ensure effective management of cash flow, receivables, payables, and treasury operations. - Optimize working capital levels to support production and supply chain requirements. - Evaluate Capex proposals, investment planning, and ROI assessment. - Compliance, Controls & Audit Management - Ensure statutory, regulatory, and legal compliance across all business operations. - Strengthen internal financial controls, risk management systems, and policies. - Oversee internal and external audits and timely completion of financial statements. - Taxation & Financial Reporting - Lead tax planning and compliance including direct, indirect tax, GST, and financial assessments. - Ensure accurate and timely MIS reporting with data-driven insights for decision-making. - Present financial performance reports to management, board, and financial stakeholders. - Business Growth & Leadership - Support business expansion, project financing, and banking relationships. - Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships if required. - Lead and develop finance teams across plants in Pune and Nashik. Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Effective P&L management and profitability improvement. - Strong cash flow and working capital optimization. - Robust financial systems, control, and compliance. - On-time statutory filings, audits, and MIS reporting accuracy. - Cost optimization and financial efficiency. Qualifications & Experience - Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA; MBA in Finance preferred. - About 15–20 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in engineering / manufacturing / automotive sectors. - Proven ability in managing corporate finance in multi-location operations. - Strong exposure to ERP platforms, financial controls, GST, and corporate taxation. - Experience managing banking and investor relations. Behavioural Competencies - Strategic and analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen - High integrity, governance orientation, and decision-making capability - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills - Ability to operate under dynamic manufacturing and business environments. Employment Type - Full-time | Corporate Leadership Role | Travel between Pune & Nashik as may be required.
