Client Account Manager - Competitive Intelligence

Role Overview The Client Account Manager will act as the primary interface between Anervea and AlfaKinetic clients, ensuring platform adoption, insight quality, and strategic alignment with client CI and commercial teams. This role sits at the intersection of pharma CI, analytics, client success, and product thinking—ideal for someone who understands how competitive intelligence is actually used inside pharma organizations. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Ownership & Relationship Management - Own day-to-day relationships with assigned AlfaKinetic clients (Global CI, Strategy, Marketing, BD teams) - Act as the single point of contact for platform usage, insights, requests, and escalations - Build long-term trusted-advisor relationships with client stakeholders 2. Competitive Intelligence Delivery & Insight Management - Understand each client's therapy area, competitive landscape, and strategic priorities - Ensure timely delivery of CI outputs including: - Competitor monitoring & alerts - Pipeline and trial intelligence - Conference and KOL tracking - AI-generated CI reports (PPT/PDF) - Proactively surface "so-what" insights, not just data 3. Platform Adoption & Value Realization - Drive strong adoption of AlfaKinetic across client teams - Conduct onboarding, training sessions, and periodic value reviews - Translate client feedback into clear improvement ideas for product teams 4. Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with: - CI Analysts & Content Teams - Product & Engineering teams - Commercial & Leadership teams - Convert client needs into structured internal briefs and execution plans 5. Growth & Expansion Support - Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (new therapy areas, new modules, custom CI) - Support renewals with clear articulation of delivered value and ROI - Assist commercial teams with account intelligence and expansion strategies Required Qualifications & Experience - 4-8 years of experience in: - Competitive Intelligence - Pharma consulting - Market research / strategy - Client success or account management in life sciences - Strong understanding of: - Pharma pipelines & clinical trials - Global competitive intelligence workflows - Oncology / specialty / rare disease markets (preferred) - Experience working with global clients (US/EU) is a strong plus.
