Overview: The Global Sourcing Machining Commodity is seeking a Commodity Manager. The Commodity Manager position is for an established professional in Supply Chain Management. You will work with limited supervision to achieve day-to-day objectives impacting supply chain strategies and operational goals. What You Will Do: · Supports the GSS, P&C /GOPS Machining Commodity · Manage sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. · Develop and implement strategic plan for a commodity or a strategic supplier · Lead Negotiations and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. · Analyze data and information associated with quotes, and supplier cost data to develop negotiation strategies. · Prepare Negotiation workbook for approvals to negotiate on behalf of the company. · This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace location in India or remote. · Attend internal and external meetings using Zoom with ability to be on camera. · Support travel as needed (up to 20%). Qualifications You Must Have: · Typically requires a BE/Master’s Degree and minimum 10+ years prior relevant experience in Supply chain/commodity management preferably manufacturing industry · Must have experience reading and understanding drawings, and other engineering documents including complex statements of work (SOWs) · Prior Price Analysis experience · Prior experience directly managing the relationship with suppliers. · Past Procurement experience. · International Procurement experience. Qualifications We Prefer: · Commodity management and sourcing · Prior experience with Collins’ work transition process.
