Commodity Research Analyst Location : Kolkata – 700012 Experience : 3–4 Years About Us We are seeking a highly driven and knowledgeable Commodity Research Analyst to join our research desk. The ideal candidate will have 3–4 years of relevant experience in commodity markets with a strong command of technical analysis. This role involves delivering high-conviction commodity research calls across Bullion, Energy, and Base Metals for clients, sales teams, and internal trading desks. Key Responsibilities Track, analyze, and interpret trends in global and domestic commodity markets (MCX and international exchanges). Generate daily, weekly, and intraday research reports with actionable trade recommendations, including entry, target, and stop-loss levels. Develop and maintain quantitative and qualitative models for commodity price forecasting. Publish timely updates on key market-moving events such as US Fed decisions, crude inventory data, bullion outlooks, and macroeconomic developments. Coordinate closely with dealing desks, sales teams, and relationship managers to support client acquisition and retention through research insights. Monitor international markets and cues including CME, COMEX, NYMEX, and global macroeconomic indicators impacting commodity prices. Participate in client webinars, internal strategy meetings, and training sessions. Ensure strict adherence to SEBI Research Analyst Regulations and internal research quality standards. Eligibility Criteria 3–4 years of hands-on experience in commodity research, preferably with a broking firm or research house. Strong working knowledge of MCX, NCDEX, NSE, and international commodity exchanges. Proficiency in technical analysis tools such as RSI, MACD, Fibonacci retracements, and candlestick patterns, along with a solid understanding of fundamental drivers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for publishing research reports and delivering market briefings. Proficient in Excel and market platforms such as Bloomberg / Reuters, TradingView, MetaTrader. SEBI Research Analyst Certification (NISM Series XV) is mandatory. Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional capable of working independently and delivering high-quality, actionable research under tight deadlines.
