Role: Computer Vision & AI/ML Engineer 📍 Location: Chennai 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time (On-site, with partial remote flexibility) We are seeking a Computer Vision & AI/ML Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves developing, optimizing, and deploying advanced perception and AI/ML solutions for real-world defence systems, with exposure to multi-sensor data and mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and optimize computer vision and AI/ML models for real-world applications • Work with EO/IR and thermal camera data for detection, tracking, and recognition tasks • Develop and maintain deep learning and neural network architectures • Implement pattern recognition and perception algorithms under real-world constraints • Analyse datasets and evaluate model performance for accuracy, robustness, and efficiency • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, hardware, and applied research engineers • Support end-to-end development from algorithm design to deployment and validation Required Qualifications • Strong proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and programming • Hands-on experience with computer vision, pattern recognition, and neural networks • Solid understanding of algorithms, probability, and statistics • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment Preferred / Optional Qualifications • Experience working with EO/IR and thermal imaging systems • Exposure to multi-sensor data fusion techniques • Familiarity with radar data processing or sensor integration • Experience deploying AI/ML models in production or resource-constrained environments • Background in defence, security, robotics, or aerospace systems Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related discipline Why Join Drexon Industries? • Work on advanced defence technologies with real-world impact • Solve challenging engineering problems involving complex sensor data and constrained environments • Collaborate with a highly skilled, mission-focused engineering team • Opportunity to contribute to systems designed for reliability, precision, and performance 📩 To apply, please share your resume or professional profile at: contact@drexonindustries.com
