Content & Social Media Centre of Excellence Manager/Senior Associate
About the job
Role Split: ~70% Academics (Centre of Excellence) | ~30% Content & Social Media (Marketing) The Short Version Who we’re looking for: We’re looking for a hands-on content and social media professional who can both create content that moves the needle and teach others how to do it well. You should be someone who enjoys being on camera, understands what stops the scroll, and also gets excited about helping students grow into confident, industry-ready professionals. This role is ideal for someone who’s dialed into culture, strong at storytelling, comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end, and motivated by impact - not just views. What the role is about: This is a build + apply role. About 70% of your time will be spent building Kraftshala’s Content & Social Media Centre of Excellence - designing curriculum, upgrading training experiences, mentoring students, managing external experts, and ensuring strong placement outcomes. The remaining 30% of your time will be spent creating content for Kraftshala - scripting, shooting, editing, and driving growth across our social platforms to build brand awareness, generate leads, and support enrollments. Why you should apply: You’ll get the rare opportunity to: • Own real brand growth while shaping the next generation of content and social media professionals • Build systems, frameworks, and playbooks - not just execute briefs • Work at the intersection of culture, education, and business outcomes • See your work translate directly into student success and placements If you enjoy creating content and scaling your thinking through others, this role gives you both. About us: Kraftshala is India’s largest higher-education institution in terms of marketing placements, with a 94% placement rate, and we are gunning to become the world’s largest career launchpad, across domains. Metrics to measure: Student NPS, attendance, engagement levels. • Track and analyze placement outcomes, student performance, and early job success to identify training gaps and improve predictive validity of assessments. Metrics to measure: Placement percentage rate, correlation between internal assessments and placement success. • Contribute to innovation and new product development as Kraftshala expands to new audiences and offerings. Metrics to measure: Quality of concepts, pilot success, adoption rate. Content Creation & Social Media (30%) • Own Kraftshala’s content and social media strategy across platforms, aligned with brand, growth, and enrollment goals. Metrics to measure: Reach, engagement rate, follower growth, leads generated, enrollment contribution. • Strategise, script, shoot, and drive visibility for short-form and long-form content, including reels, posts, brand ads, and narrative-led videos. Metrics to measure: Content output velocity, average watch time, saves/shares, CTR on content-led campaigns. • Act as on-camera talent and fully own shoot setups — scripting, framing, tone, and delivery. Metrics to measure: Consistency of output, quality benchmarks, audience retention. • Own edit plans end-to-end (music, pacing, narrative structure, visual tone), with hands-on editing being a strong plus. Metrics to measure: Time-to-publish, quality benchmarks, repeatable content formats created. • Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and academic teams to ensure messaging consistency and experimentation with new formats, tools, and channels. Metrics to measure: Cross-team alignment, experimentation cadence, successful pilots. Monthly Outcomes Month 1: Deeply understand Kraftshala’s brand, students, curriculum, and content ecosystem. Take ownership of content production while shadowing live sessions and experts. Begin auditing existing curriculum and social performance. Month 2: Independently ship high-quality content consistently. Start upgrading training modules, assessments, and session formats. Take ownership of experts’ output and begin driving improvements based on data and feedback. Month 3+: Own content strategy and academic outcomes end-to-end. Demonstrate clear impact on brand growth, student engagement, and placement metrics. Begin building scalable systems and playbooks across both marketing and academics.
