About the job

JOB DESCRIPTION As a Corporate Banking Domain Specialist in our consulting practice, you will collaborate with Territory Heads, Delivery Managers, and project teams to deliver business-focused banking solutions utilizing Oracle technologies. You will analyze bank requirements, transform complex business needs into actionable functional specifications, and play a key role in client engagements throughout solution design, testing, and implementation. Key Responsibilities • Conduct in-depth business analysis and requirement gathering for corporate banking clients. • Facilitate discussions with customers and internal teams to define, clarify, and document functional specifications, especially for Corporate Banking (Lending, Limits, Supply Chain, Trade Finance, Cross Border Payments/SWIFT). • Guide and support teams in preparing and validating functional/business test plans and documentation. • Oversee and mentor teams through product implementation, functional testing, and support phases. • Ensure compliance with Oracle internal processes and quality standards. • Build and maintain strong customer relationships as an Oracle ambassador, ensuring successful project delivery and high client satisfaction. • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners for the coordinated delivery of Oracle solutions. • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting corporate banking operations. Career Level - IC2 Responsibilities Qualifications & Skills Mandatory • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or Science. • 3–6 years’ experience within Corporate Banking functions (Lending, Limits, Supply Chain, Trade Finance, Cross Border Payments/SWIFT). • Demonstrated expertise in gathering business and functional requirements. • Strong understanding of corporate banking operations across multiple markets (India, US, Europe, Asia). • Hands-on experience in at least one domain area: Limits & Corporate Lending, Supply Chain, Trade Finance, Cross Border settlements, SWIFT. • Proven ability to prepare functional documentation and specifications. • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. • Experience in customer interfacing for requirement analysis and solution design. • Experience supporting or leading Product Implementation and Support initiatives. Good-to-Have • Prior experience in banking/financial institutions. • Exposure to Capital Markets industry. • Professional certifications such as ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA. • Working knowledge of Oracle SQL, BIP, PL/SQL. • Team management and mentorship experience. Self-Assessment Questions • Do I have a minimum of 3–6 years of hands-on experience in corporate banking functions such as Lending, Limits, Supply Chain, Trade Finance, or Cross Border Payments/SWIFT? • Can I demonstrate a track record of independently gathering, analyzing, and documenting complex business and functional requirements for banking clients? • Have I prepared functional specifications and test plans in previous roles, and successfully supported product implementations or upgrades? • Am I comfortable interfacing directly with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable Oracle solutions? • Do I possess strong analytical and communication skills, supported by relevant academic and/or professional credentials?
