As a Corporate Development (CD) V&A Manager at Accenture, you will play a crucial role in executing the company's inorganic growth strategy. Your role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external advisors, identifying potential target acquisitions, leading negotiations, managing due diligence processes, and assisting in post-merger integration plans. You will also provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to the recruitment and career development of the M&A team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain relationships with advisors to build a pipeline of potential acquisition candidates. - Identify potential target acquisitions and work with Accenture leadership to devise strategies for approaching them. - Conduct research, competitor, and market analyses to identify potential acquisition candidates. - Develop business cases for transactions with clear objectives, valuations, and transaction structures. - Lead negotiations with counterparties and manage cross-functional due diligence processes. - Assist in developing post-merger integration plans and provide mentorship to junior staff. - Contribute to ongoing recruitment and career development of the M&A team. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other business-related disciplines. - Professional Finance or Accounting qualification preferred. - Background in Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Venture Capital, Corporate Banking Advisory, Corporate Development, or Corporate M&A advisory. - Minimum of seven years of business experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or equity research. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to balance deal objectives with fiduciary independence. - Demonstrated experience in business valuation and financial analysis with a deep understanding of P&L.
