As a Credit Controller, your role is crucial in administering the credit control function to ensure timely collection of all outstanding debts. You will play a critical part in managing credit and collections processes, minimizing credit risks, maintaining a healthy cash flow, and optimizing the company's financial performance. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Establish credit limits and assess the creditworthiness of customers. - Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures to minimize credit risk and enhance collection efficiency. - Manage credit and receivable accounts to contribute to the organization's financial stability and profitability. - Monitor credit exposure and reduce bad debt risks within the organization. - Assist in collecting delinquent accounts and implement strategies to prompt timely payments. - Foster positive relationships with customers while mitigating credit risks and ensuring prompt collections. - Conduct regular credit reviews and adjust credit limits based on payment history and creditworthiness changes. - Coordinate with departments like sales, customer service, and finance to handle credit-related matters effectively. - Generate regular reports on accounts receivable, collections, and credit risk for management, highlighting areas of concern and improvement opportunities. - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in credit control, suggesting process enhancements or system improvements as needed. • *Qualifications:** - CA/MBA qualification. - Minimum 5 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in managing credit and accounts receivables or similar credit management roles. - Proficiency in advanced use of MS Excel & SAP Hana exposure is essential. - Strong organizational and methodical approach to tasks. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of the organization. - Solid critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, especially in cross-functional environments. - Ability to influence and lead others in process change and adherence.
