Credit Officer – Unsecured Business Loans Rajsi Infin Consultants Private Limited, New Delhi We are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to join our growing NBFC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting unsecured business loan applications while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: · Analyze and assess loan applications, including financial statements, bank statements, business documents and credit reports to determine creditworthiness. · Conduct physical verification and personal discussions (PD) with prospective borrowers at their business premises. · Prepare detailed credit assessment reports with proper justification for approval or rejection. · Evaluate business models, revenue streams, and cash flows to determine loan eligibility. · Monitor and review existing loan accounts for early warning signals. · Coordinate with the sales team to obtain additional information or documentation as required. · Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI guidelines, and other regulatory requirements. · Maintain accurate records of all credit decisions and verification reports. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Commerce. Semi-qualified CA/CS/CMA (candidates who have completed the Inter/Foundation level) shall be an added advantage. · 2-3 years of experience in credit assessment, preferably in unsecured business loans. · Strong understanding of financial statements and business metrics. · Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. · Strong verbal and written communication abilities. · Ability to work independently and make sound credit decisions. · Knowledge of KYC norms and RBI guidelines for NBFCs. Desired Skills: · Experience in MSME lending. · Knowledge of local market and business environment. · Familiarity with credit bureau reports and their interpretation. · Understanding of various business sectors and their dynamics.
