Role Overview: As a Crowd Data Analyst in the Methods Unit at BMWTechWorks, you will be responsible for analyzing crash data collected via the Crowd Data Collector (CDC) platform specifically within the use case UDRIVE-1445 EDR crash data collection V2 EES25 (EDR-CDC V2). Your primary role will involve evolving and enhancing deployed CDC scripts, as well as developing dashboards for campaign monitoring. Your analytical work will directly support the field monitoring of the Crash Detection Service and contribute to the advancement of future crash detection algorithm functions. Additionally, you will evaluate online data from airbag control devices (ACSM) related to field events to help BMW enhance vehicle safety and innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize comprehensive programming skills including Python and SQL for data analysis tasks. - Demonstrate strong database handling and data evaluation experience. - Apply your experience in data analysis related to automotive sensor or event data, such as airbag control units. - Develop dashboards and utilize data visualization tools for effective reporting. - Understand Crowd Data Collector platforms and their application in automotive use cases. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in programming languages like Python and SQL. - Strong database handling and data evaluation skills. - Previous experience in data analysis related to automotive sensor or event data. - Proficiency in dashboard development and data visualization tools. - Familiarity with Crowd Data Collector platforms and their relevance to automotive use cases.
