Role Overview: Agoda is seeking a talented individual to join the Supply Equity Platform (SEP) team as a Data Analyst in Bangkok. As part of this team, you will be responsible for managing complex analytics processes and algorithms, identifying root causes, and leading projects aimed at improving operational efficiency. Your role will involve working with large-scale data warehouses, driving new analytical initiatives for resource and product optimization, and developing automated infrastructure to support business intelligence globally. The SEP team offers a dynamic learning environment where you will have the opportunity to push boundaries and drive impactful changes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage complex analytics processes and algorithms to ensure smooth operation, identifying root causes and debugging as needed. - Utilize and analyze data from multiple large-scale data warehouses, understanding data flows across the organization. - Lead projects focused on improving the operations of automated systems, such as root cause detection and anomaly detection. - Develop automated infrastructure supporting business intelligence globally and drive new analytical initiatives for resource and product optimization. Qualifications Required: - Experience in big data cleaning, wrangling, and simple analytical processing, with proficiency in SQL. - Minimum 3 years of working experience in Python for data analysis. - Basic understanding of statistics and data, with the ability to apply this knowledge in complex business situations. - Proficiency in visualizing and understanding complex data flows, pipelines, and processes. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline with extensive programming experience. - Must-have skill: Experience with complex analytics, statistical/machine learning techniques using R/Python/Spark, and building automated analytical processes and functionality.
