Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to lead data-driven initiatives in our shipping and logistics operations. This role involves managing end-to-end reporting workflows, uncovering operational insights, and driving efficiency through advanced analytics using tools like Power BI, Python, Excel, and SQL. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the development and automation of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and dashboards. • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources including ERP, TMS, WMS, and CRM systems. • Build and maintain robust Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX and Power Query logic. • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale logistics datasets. • Use Python for data wrangling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling (e.g., demand forecasting, route optimization). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and IT to align reporting with business goals. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting platforms. • Mentor fellow analysts and contribute to data governance and best practices. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with logistics platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle TMS, Manhattan WMS). • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). • Knowledge of machine learning techniques for logistics optimization. • Certification in Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, or related field. • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in shipping, logistics, or supply chain domains. • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python. • Strong understanding of logistics KPIs, supply chain metrics, and operational workflows. • Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple systems. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
