About the Role As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and advancing the CCH Tagetik Financial Planning System for supporting business unit. You’ll partner closely with business teams to optimize, enhance, and scale Tagetik’s planning, forecasting, and reporting capabilities across the region. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine financial planning expertise with hands-on systems management and automation—driving data integrity, process efficiency, and decision-making excellence. JOB QUALIFICATIONSTechnical/Soft Skills : • Good to have prior experience in Data science & basic finance knowledge. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling, with working knowledge of SAP and other financial systems. • Required: Bachelor’s degree in data science/analytics, finance, accounting, or economics or Engineering in Computer Science, or related quantitative field • Proficiency in data integration, management, and scripting within Corporate Performance Management Tools such as Tagetik. • Strong python programming skills for data transformations • Sound Knowledge of statistical modelling • Strong analytical skills; capable of multi-tasking in fast-paced, dynamic environment • Ability to communicate effectively to multiple constituencies in multiple platforms including email. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Financial System Administration: • Administer the Tagetik CPM system/tool to ensure its smooth operation and alignment with financial processes. • Data Loading and System Logic – mapping rules, cost center creation, account hierarchy, allocations) • Business Finance User Support including problem resolving any functional and technical issues • Conduct regular system maintenance, including updates, patches, and backups, to ensure system reliability and security • Manage user access, roles, and permissions to safeguard financial data and maintain system integrity Financial Process Support: • Configure and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting modules within Financial Systems such as Tagetik. • Develop and manage financial models, reports, and dashboards to support budgeting and forecasting activities. • Collaborate with finance teams to integrate financial data, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, into the Tagetik system. Business Opportunity Identification and Optimization: • Gather requirements (Production and Development) and documentation of business needs (changes/enhancements). With an understanding of system capabilities, translate those requirements into functional and technical design for workflows, forms, reports, interfaces, conversions, and system enhancements -- conducting system validation and testing • Assist in identifying business unit opportunities and challenges by continually reviewing and analyzing financial and operational data. • Model trends, identify relationships, and spot opportunities. • Test hypotheses and alternatives to find optimal solutions. • Collaborate with other leaders to identify new business models and workflows. • Identify opportunities for system improvements and optimizations to enhance financial planning and reporting processes. Project Management: • Support financial system projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, or integrations with other financial systems. • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Data Mining and Analytics Skills: • Proficient in data mining and data analytics to derive insights from various datasets. Stakeholder Management • Foster positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders in the workplace for effective collaboration and communication. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS • Minimal travel might be required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Working from the Kalyani Nagar, Pune office on a hybrid schedule (Mondays and Tuesdays).
