Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Analyst - BRSR Assurance located in Thane, with partial work-from-home flexibility. This role involves analyzing ESG data, building data models, ensuring accuracy of ESG assessments, and presenting actionable insights. Detail-oriented Data Analyst to support BRSR Core reporting and ESG assurance engagements. The role involves ESG data validation, KPI calculation using BRSR Core calculator tools, and supporting third-party assurance processes in line with guidelines issued by SEBI. Key Responsibilities 1. KPI Calculation & Data Processing · BRSR Framework (Section A-C) · GRI Standards · Carbon Footprint Calculation 2. Excel / Tool Management · Develop and maintain BRSR Core Excel calculators · Build automated templates for KPI computation · Create validation checks within spreadsheets · Ensure formula accuracy and audit trail documentation · Perform variance analysis (YoY comparison) 3. Data Cleaning & Validation · Identify missing/inconsistent ESG data · Perform reconciliations with source documents · Cross-check plant-level and consolidated data · Maintain supporting documentation 4. Reporting & Dashboarding · Prepare ESG dashboards (Power BI / Excel) · Generate summary reports for management. Support sustainability disclosures for annual report Qualification and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, finance, environmental studies, or a related field.. 1+ yrs of experience in ESG research, investment analysis for large Corporates. Preferred Skills 1. Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards) 2. Power BI / Tableau 3. Basic SQL 4. Understanding of ESG frameworks (BRSR, GRI, TCFD) 5. Data cleaning & validation 6. Strong documentation skills 7. Strong analytical thinking 8. Attention to detail 9. Understanding of sustainability metrics 10. Good documentation & reporting skills
