Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analytics/Engineer who can manage, configure, and optimize our Apache Superset environment for business intelligence and data visualization needs. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of Superset while collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams. Responsibilities we entrust you with • Install, configure, and maintain Apache Superset in production environments. • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Superset. • Integrate Superset with various data sources (SQL databases, cloud data warehouses, etc.). • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to dashboards, queries, and connectivity. • Implement security best practices, including authentication (LDAP, OAuth) and SSL. • Perform version upgrades, patches, and backups. • Optimize Superset for scalability and high availability. • Collaborate with data teams to ensure smooth onboarding and support for visualization requirements. • Document configurations, processes, and provide training to end-users. What Matters In This Role Relevant work experience • Strong experience with Apache Superset installation in Windows/Linux environment, Configuration. • Proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases. • Knowledge of Python and Supersets configuration files. • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting. • Experience with authentication protocols (LDAP, OAuth, SSO). • Understanding of networking, SSL certificates, and security principles. • Hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments. • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Superset deployments. • Familiarity with BI tools and data visualization best practices.
