Role: Data Engineer Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week) Contract Duration: Long term Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri) Work Hours: IST Location: Hybrid - 2days onsite/week Gurgaon, India We’re looking for a Data Engineer to support the Cargo Commercial Technology team, building cloud-native, scalable data applications and pipelines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to advance digital transformation initiatives and ensure enterprise-grade integration and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, document, test, and maintain data applications and pipelines • Support and troubleshoot systems, optimize performance, and resolve issues • Ensure proper system integration and alignment with enterprise standards • Collaborate with business, support, and development teams to implement enhancements Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role • 5+ years hands-on Python development experience • Strong experience with SQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS, VPC) • Strong understanding of data models, data mining, and distributed applications • Linux environment experience and Object-Oriented design skills • Ability to work independently and in teams; local to Gurgaon, India Nice to Have: • Airline industry experience • ML/AI model development • Java or scientific computing frameworks.
