Job Title: Data Migration Specialist We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Data Migration Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration, Sage X3, and Microsoft SQL Server. The successful candidate will be responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data between Sage X3 and other business systems. This includes performing end-to-end data migration, cleaning and validating large datasets, and developing scripts and automation for migration tasks. Data Migration & Integration: • Extract, transform, and load data (ETL) using Microsoft SQL Server and related tools. • Understand and map Sage X3 table structures, including BPCUSTOMER, BPADDRESS, SINVOICE, PINVOICE, GACCENTRY, PAYMENTH, etc. • Clean and validate large datasets ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Develop scripts, stored procedures, and automation for migration tasks. Sage X3 Functional & Technical Expertise: • Work closely with finance and operations teams to understand data requirements. • Handle master data, including customers, suppliers, products, chart of accounts, and taxes. • Support transactional data migration, including invoices, receipts, journals, orders, payments, and ledgers. • Ensure data aligns with Sage X3 Financial Module rules, AP, AR, GL. Data Validation & Testing: • Conduct pre-migration and post-migration validation. • Prepare reconciliation reports and audit logs. • Troubleshoot data issues, inconsistencies, and validation errors. Documentation & Support: • Maintain detailed documentation for mappings, scripts, workflows, and migration logs. • Provide support to finance, operations, and ERP teams during UAT and Go-Live. • Train end users on data standards and migration outputs if needed.
