Learn more at careers.alight.com Role We are seeking a curious, analytical, and business-savvy Data Science Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across Commercial, Financial, and HR domains. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, building predictive models, and translating complex data into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement. • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Glue, SQL and PySpark. • Develop and orchestrate data transformation workflows using AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda’s. • Build and validate predictive models, statistical analyses, and machine learning algorithms to support forecasting, segmentation, and optimization. • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering to prepare datasets for modeling. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical questions. • Communicate findings through clear visualizations, dashboards, and presentations using tools like Power BI or Quick Sight or Tableau. • Support the deployment and monitoring of models in production environments in collaboration with data engineering teams. • Ensure data quality and integrity through validation checks and documentation. • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in data science and analytics. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field. • 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning. • Proficiency in: • Python or R for data analysis and modeling. • SQL, PySpark for data extraction and manipulation. • Data visualization tools (Power BI, Quick Sight, Tableau). • Machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc.). • Experience working with enterprise data sources such as AWS Redshift, Salesforce, Workday. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical audiences. • Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and compliance standards is a plus.
