Job Duties/responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: • Analyze the data to discover patterns and trends. • Perform Descriptive, Predictive data analytics and visualization. • Collaborate with data engineering, Functional and Business teams. • Develop tools to proactively measure, monitor and improve data quality. • Schedule Job runs and automation of repetitive workflows. • Monitor and support production models, coordinate issue resolution with various support groups. The Data scientist demonstrates good knowledge of statistical approaches, data management techniques, and/or related digital technologies, and the ability to handle complex issues. The position also mentors and develops the capabilities and organizational knowledge of other resources. The incumbent demonstrates very good communication and presentation skills, being able to explain conclusions to customers who have limited knowledge and experience with quantitative analytical methods. As an individual contributor on teams, they should also exhibit strong initiative and teamwork skills. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5 years of related work experience. • Should have expertise in Data analysis, Data visualization, Statistical modelling. • Must have proficiency in Python and SQL, visualization tool like PowerBI and exposure to snowflake. • Good understanding of Big data and cloud database concepts. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Exposure to Manufacturing environment is preferable.
