Title: Data Scientist – Test and Learn, Time Series Analysis Location: 100% Remote Objective Seeking a highly analytical Data Scientist to support revenue growth strategies by leveraging time series modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques. Use test and learn methodologies in python Key Responsibilities: - Develop advanced analytics models, including price/promotion optimization, segmentation, and demand modeling. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure revenue growth strategies align with business goals and market conditions. - Monitor key business KPIs and regularly present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making. - Work closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure the scalability and robustness of models and tools. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in pricing, data science, or related fields. - Strong expertise in statistical modeling and machine learning. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL and experience with data visualization tools. - Understanding of price optimization techniques, demand modeling, and forecasting. - Excellent communications, organizational and time management skills. Things we are looking for: - Strong track record of test and learn in Python. - Great communication as this role is client-facing for some markets. - Some Bayes experience. - Time Series experience is a must for all studies where we don’t have control groups. - Great visualization skills and deck creation chops: Must be able to tell a data story with PowerPoint. - Python Dashboarding skills would be nice to have. - Tableau or PowerBI dashboarding would be nice to have as well. - Should be able to run an entire study, analyze and interpret the results, produce the deck and communicate it to the market without any handholding.
