The role involves building robust forecasting models to drive supply chain, sales, or demand planning decisions. Candidates should be comfortable working independently while delivering business-aligned solutions. Must-Have Skills & Tools • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL • Hands-on experience with time-series analysis and forecasting techniques • Strong knowledge of feature engineering and model deployment • Ability to interpret results, explain model outcomes, and present insights clearly • Good understanding of data visualisation tools and automation techniques Good to Have • Prior experience developing sales, demand, or inventory forecasting models • Familiarity with ML model lifecycle and pipeline automation (Airflow, MLflow, etc.) • Understanding of business operations and financial metrics related to forecasting Roles & Responsibilities • Design and implement accurate forecasting models using statistical and machine learning methods • Analyze time-series data to identify patterns and seasonality • Work closely with business stakeholders to provide actionable forecasting insights • Support automation and optimization of data pipelines for continuous model improvement • Communicate key findings and recommendations effectively across teams.
