We are hiring an experienced Data Scientist with exceptional hands-on Python skills and strong Machine Learning expertise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on writing clean, high-performance code and has demonstrated excellence on platforms like LeetCode, Codeforces, HackerRank, or Kaggle. You will collaborate with engineering and research teams to build high-quality datasets and develop techniques that directly improve AI model performance. What You’ll Do - Build and optimize high-performance Python systems for large-scale AI/ML pipelines - Design modular, production-grade Python codebases - Deliver robust backend components in collaboration with cross-functional teams - Write efficient, testable code with strong algorithmic thinking - Stay updated with modern Python, ML frameworks, and best practices What We're Looking For - Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Software Engineering, or related field - 4+ years of production-level experience in Python - Expertise with key libraries: Pandas, NumPy, AsyncIO, PyTorch, Transformers, etc. - Proven track record or strong rating on LeetCode / Codeforces / HackerRank / Kaggle - Experience in system design, clean architecture, and performance optimization - Working-level proficiency in Machine Learning or Data Science Offer Details - Work Location: Remote (Work from home) - Commitment required: 40 hours/week with 4-hour/day PST timezone overlap - Type: Contractor - Duration: 3 months (Immediate start) - Evaluation Process: Technical Interview (60 mins): Discussion of Python problem-solving, architecture, and system design.
