As a Data Scientist II in IDEAS team, you will be driving product & business decision making via actionable insights. You will be responsible for tracking overall product performance via metrics & key results, ensuring single version of truth and performing deep analytics. This opportunity will allow you to hone your expertise in Big Data, Data Mining, Analytical skills, problem solving, storytelling, influencing others and also thrive in a team environment that values cross team collaboration and building on the success of others. Responsibilities • Inform product strategy through deep insights into product performance, cross team collaboration across multiple disciplines and strong storytelling. • Develop strong collaborative and consultative partnership with data customers and data partners. • Define, generate and monitor KPIs / OKRs. • Automate reporting and provide exploration capability. • Present insights and learnings to key stakeholders & executives, drive accountability for action and impact. Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field • OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1 year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experience • OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2 years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) • OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
