Job Description : Data Scientist III - Forecasting Role : Data Scientist III - Forecasting Location : India Level : Data Scientist III Organization : Enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI (EDAA) – Data Science Key Responsibilities : • Build and improve forecasting models for sales, demand, and guest traffic under guidance from senior / principal scientists; • Implement robust evaluation and assist with performance monitoring and drift analysis. • Productionize models in partnership with MLOps and engineering. • Collaborate with product and business partners to clarify requirements, define success metrics, and present findings with clear narratives and visuals. • Contribute to reusability through shared libraries, documentation, and coding standards. • Participate in design and code reviews. Qualifications Required : • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (Statistics, CS, Applied Math, OR, Econometrics) or equivalent experience. • 2–3+ years of practical experience developing and evaluating forecasting or predictive models. • Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit learn); ability to write clean, maintainable, production ready code. • Familiarity with time series techniques and feature engineering. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
