Role Description This is a contract (renewable) on-site role for a Data Scientist - Retail Banking to be based in Saudi Arabia for one of our esteemed overseas clients. But if the candidate joins in India, then it may be converted into a full-time permanent position. The incumbent is expected to develop, deploy, and operationalize machine learning models within Cloudera Machine Learning (CML) environment, implementing MLOps practices for AI use cases. WFH/Remote working would not be allowed as per client requirements. This is an urgent vacancy, IMMEDIATE JOINERS REQUIRED. Key Responsibilities - Develop and train machine learning models for the 5 defined business use cases - Implement end-to-end MLOps pipelines on Cloudera Machine Learning (CML) - Feature engineering using the validated CDEs from the data foundation - Model validation, testing, and performance monitoring - Implement model versioning, tracking, and reproducibility - Develop model monitoring for performance drift and data quality issues - Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data feeds for models - Create model documentation including technical specifications and business impact - Optimize models for performance and scalability in production - Implement model explainability and interpretability frameworks Required Qualifications - Graduation in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field - 3-5 years of experience in machine learning model development and deployment for a retail bank is a MUST - Strong programming skills in Python, R, or Scala - Experience with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.) - Knowledge of machine learning frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) - Experience with Big Data platforms and distributed computing - Understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design Soft Skills: - Strong written and verbal communication in English. - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. - Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused with a collaborative attitude. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
