Role Overview: As the Deputy General Manager - Human Resources at Schindler, you will act as the primary strategic advisor to the Regional VP, Field Operations and the leadership team. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute talent and organizational design plans that support the overall business strategy. You will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering key people-related objectives to drive value for the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development and delivery of the HR Strategy - Assist in the implementation of HR aspects of integration plans - Drive the creation and delivery of employee engagement plans within the region - Contribute to Organisational Design and capability planning - Facilitate training needs analysis and training plan development - Support in the implementation of people review processes including performance, reward, talent, and succession planning - Coach regional line management on best HR practices - Lead a step change in people management capability across regions - Develop and implement a plan to minimize attrition and improve retention - Role model a positive performance management culture within the region - Contribute to the development and rollout of HR dashboards and monitoring of HR metrics - Promote feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement of HR services and processes Qualifications Required: - Should ideally hold an MBA or equivalent in Human Resource - Any additional degree or certification in Coaching or other HR courses is an added advantage - 10+ years of demonstrable success in senior HR business partnering or related roles - At least 3+ years of man management experience - Expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management practices - Ability to drive HR solutions relevant to local needs in support of business strategy - Strong verbal and written English communication skills - Understanding of statutory laws, recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development, talent management, organizational development, HR policies, HR IT systems, organizational structure, business, manpower budgeting, planning, performance management, and HR analytics - Candidates with an MNC background are preferred
