In this pivotal role, you’ll help shape and deliver the next generation of Skill features in Human Capital Management across our web and backend applications. Your contributions will drive a scalable, high-performance product and exceptional user experience. You thrive in collaborative environments and take pride in building world-class software products. **Responsibilities:** • Architect, design, and implement new features using Java and the existing technology stack in an agile team environment. • Develop robust services using Java, Spring, and REST, with deployment via Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native CI/CD tools. • Partner with developers, architects, and cross-functional scrum teams, leading by example. • Deliver scalable, distributed systems and ensure secure, cloud-compliant deployments with practices like zero-downtime releases, canary deployments, and feature toggles. • Collaborate with engineering program management to meet compliance, security, and infrastructure requirements. • Drive the full development lifecycle — from requirement analysis and architectural planning to development, testing, and delivery. **What you bring** • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 7+ years of software engineering experience, building scalable web applications using Java, JSP, Spring, REST APIs, SQL, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js, etc.). • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. • Strong collaboration skills with product managers, architects, and other engineering stakeholders. • Familiarity with DevOps best practices, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD), and system monitoring. • Demonstrated success in contributing to large, complex codebases. • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. • Clear and effective communication across global, distributed teams. • Experience in resolving customer issues and supporting enterprise-grade software.
