We operate a dual-portfolio U.S. cannabis business: • THC portfolio with licensed cultivation and wholesale operations in Oklahoma and California • THCA portfolio based in Texas, supporting compliant distribution and national shipping Our technology stack supports ERP, inventory, compliance, finance, sales, and marketplace operations across these portfolios. Our Bangalore-based engineering and operations team—recruited and managed through Skilligent—builds and maintains the backend systems that power our U.S. business. About This Role We are hiring a DevOps / Backend Engineer with strong Node.js experience, ERP exposure, and cannabis industry familiarity to support and scale Passion Farms’ backend infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of: • backend engineering • DevOps • ERP systems • regulated-industry workflows You will be responsible for ensuring our systems are stable, secure, scalable, and reliable as the business grows across states and product lines. No cannabis is handled in India. All work supports software, infrastructure, and systems for U.S. legal markets. Core Responsibilities Backend & DevOps • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js • Deploy, monitor, and maintain production systems and environments • Design reliable CI/CD pipelines • Ensure uptime, performance, and system stability • Handle environment configuration, secrets, and access controls • Monitor logs, alerts, and infrastructure health ERP & Systems Integration • Work with ERP systems supporting inventory, finance, compliance, and operations • Build and maintain integrations between ERP, internal tools, and third-party services • Support data integrity across systems (inventory, orders, reporting) • Troubleshoot ERP-related backend and infrastructure issues • Collaborate with finance, ops, and compliance teams to support system accuracy Cannabis & Compliance Awareness • Understand how cannabis regulations affect system design and data flow • Support state-specific workflows (OK, CA, TX) • Build systems with auditability, traceability, and compliance in mind • Ensure backend systems support accurate reporting and controls Why Join Passion Farms? • Work with a vertically integrated U.S. cannabis company • Build backend systems that directly power real-world operations • High ownership and high visibility role • Collaborate closely with leadership, ops, and finance teams • Clear growth path into Lead Engineer, Platform Lead, or Head of Engineering • Be part of a disciplined, integrity-driven global team
