IndiaLand has its presence across India in major cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Pune. In its two decades of operations in India, IndiaLand has developed and tenanted space totaling five million sq ft occupied by leading MNCs. Job Responsibilities: - The position will be responsible for all legal aspects of land acquisition, development, leasing, sales, and asset management for the group’s commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring full compliance with applicable laws (RERA, Companies Act, stamp and registration, municipal and zoning, SEBI/FEMA where applicable and other provisions). The role provides strategic legal support to senior management on structuring, documentation, negotiations, litigation, and regulatory matters and managing external counsel. - The role will also lead the secretarial and corporate governance function for the group, act as Company Secretary for key entities, and be responsible for end‑to‑end compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI (if applicable), FEMA and real‑estate specific regulations like RERA. The role partners closely with promoters, board, finance, legal and project teams to support capital raising. Desired Skills: - Deep understanding of Indian real estate laws and compliance frameworks - Strong leadership and communication skills - Analytical thinking and ethical judgment - Experience with regulatory audits and legal documentation. To review & track Compliances related secretarial & legal department. Prepare compliance and legal reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. Education: - B. Com / M. Com, CS & LLB Experience: - 15–20 years, with at least 8 years in senior compliance roles within real estate.
