It is a technical product ownership role at the executive tier, where you will control the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration across our entire learning platform. You will be accountable for making critical technical tradeoffs that keep our products lean, scalable, and relentlessly focused on student outcome improvement. What You Will Be Doing • Building and demonstrating comprehensive education product expertise to inform strategic decisions • Creating technical specifications that establish critical technical decisions and emphasize simplicity, efficiency, and long-term sustainability • Deploying generative AI technologies to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the strategic objective of minimizing manual effort What You Won’t Be Doing • Focusing solely on people management; your technical and business judgment will be central to this role • Spending time in meetings, committees, and administrative overhead; we have automated management tasks to enable you to concentrate on generating business value through direct contributions • Proposing high-level strategies without actionable implementation details; your guidance must be grounded in product-level understanding Director Of AI Product Management Key Responsibilities • Serve as the CTO for one or more education products, owning core competencies and delivering business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership Basic Requirements • Substantial experience or strong interest in data-driven learning science • 7+ years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, including the application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies • 2+ years of experience making design decisions that involve cloud computing services (primarily AWS) • 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery ownership of a revenue-generating product • Experience developing product features that leverage advanced use of Generative AI • Experience applying Generative AI to streamline work processes About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
