What You Will Be Doing • Cultivating and applying comprehensive education product knowledge to inform strategic direction • Authoring technical specifications that resolve critical technical challenges and emphasize simplicity, operational efficiency, and sustainable architecture • Deploying generative AI capabilities to automate and optimize engineering workflows, consistent with the organizational objective of minimizing manual intervention What You Won’t Be Doing • Pure people management; your technical and business judgment will be the essential drivers of success in this role • Spending time in meetings, committees, and administrative overhead; we have streamlined management processes so you can concentrate on delivering business impact through direct execution • Abstract strategies disconnected from implementation; your guidance must be grounded in product-level knowledge Director Of AI Product Management Key Responsibilities • Serve as the CTO of one or more education products, commanding core technical capabilities and generating business value through flawless execution and strategic leadership Basic Requirements • 7+ years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions on software projects, including the application of architecture design patterns or major open source technologies • 2+ years of experience making design decisions involving the use of cloud computing services (primarily AWS) • 4+ years of experience in roles with complete technical and delivery ownership on a revenue-generating product • Experience using AI agents to design, implement, and test software products or features About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
