Summary • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a cross‑functional team of Indirect and Direct Procurement specialists fostering a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Spearhead the development and expansion of the regional critical raw‑material supply base, enhancing long‑term resilience, driving structural cost advantages, and enabling sustainable business growth. • Execute global procurement strategy for both Indirect and Direct categories across the JPAC region. Ensure alignment with global category leads. • Drive transformational cost optimization, supplier performance excellence, and proactive risk mitigation, delivering measurable value aligned with global procurement objectives. Own regional procurement KPIs including cost savings, spend under management, and supplier performance metrics. • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contract governance to ensure lowest total cost of ownership. • Collaborate with global category leads to align regional initiatives with enterprise-wide strategies. • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies across all procurement activities. • Lead, develop, and coach regional procurement teams; drive talent development and succession planning. • Ability to use influence to work cross functionally to ideate and deliver the best value for the company. • Understand and negotiate contract terms when required. • Perform other work-related duties as assigned. Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred • 20+ years of procurement experience with 10+ years in leadership roles within multinational company. • Strong working knowledge of Direct and Indirect procurement categories. • Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, supplier development and risk assessment. • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across diverse cultures. • Strong analytical and financial acumen for cost modeling and budgeting. • Excellent communication and influencing skills at executive levels. • Fluent in English (written and verbal). Preferred Skills: • Experience with source-to-pay (S2P) platforms and spend analytics tools. • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products. • Experience in JPAC region markets and understanding of local regulatory landscapes. • Background in medical diagnostics market. • Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and ESG compliance in procurement. • Advanced certifications (e.g., CIPS, ISM, or equivalent). • Multilingual capabilities (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin preferred). • Experience leading change management and process transformation initiatives.
