As a Director - Supply Chain at a global manufacturer and supplier of Automated Driving Systems, Electronic Transmission Products, Digitally Engineered Components, Data & Power Connector, and AI-driven Mobility Solutions, you will play a crucial role in leading the supply chain transformation and operational scale in India. Reporting directly to the COO, you will have full ownership of defining and executing end-to-end supply chain strategies to drive operational excellence and multi-site performance in a fast-growing and technology-driven manufacturing environment. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the end-to-end supply chain function, encompassing strategic sourcing, procurement, planning, logistics, inventory management, and risk mitigation. - Develop and implement a scalable global supply chain strategy covering transportation, cost governance, financial alignment, performance management, analytics, and digital enablement. - Oversee commercial order fulfillment processes including order management, tracking, shipping coordination, returns management, and customer service resolution. - Define and execute supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on supply continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization. - Manage key Supply Chain KPIs such as inventory performance, delivery service levels, planning accuracy, and logistics costs to drive cost-saving initiatives. - Design and implement demand, supply, and inventory strategies to support business growth and operational stability. - Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to negotiate optimal business and operational trade-offs. - Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, performance tracking, and process optimization across the supply chain network. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic vendors and suppliers using market intelligence and data-driven decision-making. - Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team capable of executing strategy and supporting long-term business growth. • *Required Competencies:** - Expertise in demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and portfolio planning. - Business acumen across finance, sales, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement. - Ability to integrate advanced supply chain technologies into business processes. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. - Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. - Experience in leading multi-unit supply chain and procurement operations. - Exposure to warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution management in a global industrial manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in ERP, MRP, APS, and BI/analytics tools. • *Education:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics is preferred. - Relevant professional certifications such as APICS / CSCP will be advantageous.
