About the job

The Opportunity: As an e Commerce Data Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact by providing actionable insights that drive business decisions. You are passionate about data, have mastered using it to take an advisory approach, and thrive in a business where the data you share helps support business objectives. You hold a strong understanding of data sources, their structures, how the data flows, and where improvements could be made. Essential Responsibilities: Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all e Commerce systems. Document the flow of transactional and master data between systems to ensure a single source of truth of data and to identify inconsistencies. Make recommendations on appropriate data flows and input controls for key master data (customer and products data). Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources (e.g., web analytics, sales data, customer behavior) to generate actionable insights and recommendations. Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for e Commerce activities, including conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, average order value, and more. Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to understand behavior patterns, segment customers, and provide insights for targeted marketing and personalization strategies. A/B Testing: Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests to optimize website performance, user experience, and marketing campaigns. Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct analysis of market trends and competitor performance to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth. Data Visualization: Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders and support data-driven decision-making. Collaboration: Work closely with the e Commerce, marketing, and product teams to align data insights with business objectives and drive cross-functional projects. Qualifications & Expertise: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, but if you have mastered data without the degree and you meet the remaining requirements, apply. Experience: 4+ years of experience in data analysis within e Commerce. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software: Python SQL Advanced Excel Tableau or similar. Data Architecture: Understanding of data design, database schemas, data flows/ETL, and storage best practices. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable strategies. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing and analyzing data. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
