Education Counselor – Bench Marketing & Sales (India) Employment Type : Full-Time Location : Magarpatta, Pune (100% Onsite) The Education Counselor – Bench Marketing & Sales is responsible for counseling students and job-seekers, marketing bench candidates to clients, generating leads, and driving enrollments and placements. This role combines education counseling, sales, and bench marketing, requiring strong communication, follow-up, and result-oriented skills. Key Responsibilities: Education Counseling • Counsel students and professionals on training programs, certifications, and career paths. • Explain course structures, timelines, fees, and placement support clearly. • Conduct follow-ups on leads and convert inquiries into enrollments. • Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and conversions. Bench Marketing & Sales • Market bench candidates (IT / Non-IT) to direct clients, vendors, and implementation partners. • Share profiles, negotiate rates, and coordinate interviews. • Build and maintain strong client / vendor relationships. • Track submissions, interviews, feedback, and closures. Sales & Business Development • Generate leads through calls, emails, social media, and referrals. • Achieve monthly sales targets for enrollments and bench placements. • Support promotional activities, webinars, and walk-in drives. • Maintain CRM / Excel trackers for leads, sales, and marketing activity. Coordination & Reporting • Coordinate with trainers, recruiters, and operations teams. • Prepare daily / weekly reports on counseling, sales, and bench marketing activity. • Ensure process adherence and documentation accuracy. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory). • Experience in education counseling, bench sales, recruitment sales, or training sales. • Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. • Willingness to work 100% onsite at Magarpatta, Pune. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in IT training institutes, staffing firms, or consultancy environment. • Knowledge of bench marketing process. • Target-driven and result-oriented mindset.
