Engineer II – Full Stack .NET

About the job

In this role, you will design and implement NET-based microservices, build scalable backend systems, contribute to frontend development using React.js, and work across distributed, event-driven architectures deployed on AWS. You will collaborate with engineering teams globally to deliver robust, maintainable, and high-performing solutions that power CORE’s enterprise SaaS platform. Tech Environment & Tools • React.js • .NET 6+, C# • AWS cloud • Entity Framework Core • Docker, Kubernetes • GitHub Actions • Apache Kafka • OpenTelemetry • Postgres • REST / JSON APIs • Integration with cXML • GraphQL • Nanoservices / Microservices architecture Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely aligned field • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience • Strong experience building applications using .NET 6+, C#, EF Core • Solid proficiency in JavaScript/React.js • Experience with cloud-native applications using AWS • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL • Hands-on experience with event streaming using Kafka • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) • Experience using OpenTelemetry to improve monitoring and observability • Knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines • Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices design Must Have • Strong proficiency in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and Entity Framework Core. • Develop robust, secure APIs and backend services integrated with React.js frontends. Good to have • Kubernetes, EKS, Container experience • Observability and OpenTelemetry experience Nice to have • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation). • Experience with financial technology, procurement systems, or ERP platforms.
