**Role Overview:** As an Engineer Procurement / Supply Chain at PRI OIL AND GAS PVT. LTD, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Managing Director in purchasing goods or services for the organization. This includes ensuring the employer acquires quality products at competitive prices in a timely manner. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the company's adherence to budgets and profitable operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Procurement Manager to develop and implement procurement plans and strategies for the organization. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Liaise with key company Managers to identify their products and service needs. - Monitor business trends and product availability to secure the best prices for company goods and services without compromising on quality or delivery timelines. - Cultivate relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable prices for the company. - Identify and conduct research on potential new suppliers. - Explore new products and services to align with the company's objectives. - Evaluate the total costs of company purchases. - Ensure compliance with API requirements while procuring any item for the company. - Provide training to Procurement executives as necessary. - Develop and execute strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services while maintaining optimal stock levels. - Supervise a team of Procurement Executives. - Report to the Managing Director. - Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Superiors or Management. • *Qualifications Required:** - Possess at least 3-10 years of experience in purchasing with comprehensive knowledge in strategic procurement. - Demonstrate expertise in procurement practices such as sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and enhancing procurement-related SOPs. - Display commitment to work and meet deadlines efficiently. - Exhibit high efficiency, energy, independence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Showcase strong interpersonal, leadership, planning, and organizational skills. - Have excellent communication and negotiation abilities. - Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English. - Knowledge of API (American Petroleum Institute) Standards would be advantageous.
