About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated student intern for an Equity Research Analyst role. About the Internship: As an Equity Research Analyst, you will work on cutting-edge AI driven projects involving financial modelling, company valuation, sector analysis, and investment recommendations. You will have the opportunity to engage in multiple mini-projects across various industry sectors. Key Responsibilities: • Financial Analysis & Valuation - Conduct fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies - Build and maintain financial models for company valuation - Analyze quarterly and annual financial statements - Develop comprehensive DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses • Industry & Market Research - Monitor and analyse industry trends and market dynamics - Track macroeconomic indicators affecting equity markets - Prepare sector-specific research reports - Identify potential investment opportunities through thematic research • Investment Recommendation - Formulate investment theses based on research findings - Generate buy/sell/hold recommendations with price targets - Assess risk factors and sensitivities in investment recommendations - Create comprehensive equity research reports • Data Analytics & AI Applications - Leverage AI-powered tools for data analysis and pattern recognition - Apply quantitative techniques to financial data - Work with our proprietary market intelligence platforms - Extract insights from alternative data sources • Capstone Project - Prepare a comprehensive equity research report including: - Company valuation, Industry analysis, Investment recommendation with rationale, and Risk assessment What You Will Learn: • Practical methodologies for equity research and financial analysis • Hands-on experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for investment decision-making • Research report writing and presentation skills • Knowledge of AI applications in financial analysis Who Should Apply? • Student or fresh graduate from any academic discipline • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) • Interest in financial markets and company analysis • Willingness to self-learn and work in a fast-paced environment
