POSITION TITLE: Executive/Sr. Executive –Dispatch Activities CADRE / BAND: O1 /14/13 DIVISION / DEPARTMENT/ FUNCTION: Spiceco / SCM/ Dispatch Activities LOCATION: Position Based REPORTING TO: Band 13 and above/ Band 11 and above POSITION REPORTING TO THIS ONE: Band 16 and 15 JOB NUMBER: O1|DISP&ACT|SCM|FDS DATE: 2023 PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION: Role will involve managing the scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to distribution centers. Key Responsibilities: • Monitor dispatch operations in real-time and address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions and maintain service levels. • Generate reports and performance metrics related to dispatch activities, including on-time delivery rates, vehicle utilization, and delivery costs. • Analyze dispatch data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in dispatch operations. • Identify opportunities to streamline dispatch processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimize dispatch operations and enhance customer satisfaction. • Any other task assigned by the reporting authority. CONTACTS/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: INTERNAL: Need Based EXTERNAL: Customers and as advised by reporting authority. KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE /Age Group/ QUALIFICATION: KNOWLEDGE: - In-depth knowledge in Supply Chain / Material Management / Logistics & Warehousing. - In-depth understanding of dispatch planning principles and techniques. - Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to dispatch and transportation. ADMINISTRATIVE: Position Based Position requires extensive travel: - Own Conveyance Must. SKILLS: - Proficiency in using supply chain planning tools and software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. EXPERIENCE: 2- 7 Years. AGE GROUP: 21-32 Years QUALIFICATION: Mandatory-Graduation in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Preferred -MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
