Hiring: Export Sales Manager – West Africa (Building Materials) Location: Nigeria Industry: Building Materials (Tiles / Natural Stones / Steel / Paints) Reporting To: Sales Head / Managing Director 🌍 Company Overview Client is a reputed multinational group with a strong presence across Africa, Middle East, and India, operating in diversified sectors including Oil & Gas, Food, Agri Commodities, Transport & Logistics, Tiles, Mining, Printing & Packaging, and Hospitality. 🎯 Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager with strong exposure to the West African building materials market to drive market expansion, customer acquisition, and secondary sales growth. 🔑 Key Responsibilities: • Develop and expand West Africa markets, with a focus on Nigeria and nearby regions. • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers. • Manage commercial negotiations and coordinate with internal teams. • Support the setup of customer-operated depots and drive secondary sales. • Monitor market dynamics, including imports vs local production trends. • Participate in regional exhibitions and trade shows. • Provide feedback to OPS/production teams on new designs and market needs. • Prepare and submit weekly journey plans and sales reports. • Maintain accurate data using CRM tools and Excel. 🎓 Qualifications & Experience: • Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales preferred. • Proven experience in Building Materials (Tiles, Natural Stones, Steel, Paints). • Strong exposure to the West African market. • Team management and cross-functional coordination skills. • Knowledge of French language is a strong advantage. • Excellent communication and analytical skills. ✅ Ideal Candidate Profile: ✔ Building materials sales professional. ✔ Experience in export/international sales. ✔ Familiar with West African trade practices. ✔ Willing to travel extensively within the region. 📩 How to Apply Interested candidates may apply directly on LinkedIn or share their profile with a brief note highlighting West Africa market exposure.
