We are seeking an External Communications Specialist to nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and develop an enviable corporate image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs. Designation: Manager Reporting to: Head – Corporate Communications Location: Noida Experience: 8-10 years Responsibilities: - Planning and execution of corporate messaging with the objective of establishing the organisation’s pre-eminence across all external and internal stakeholders. - Managing PR Activities like Press Conference, Press Release, Opportunity Mapping, Media Interactions, Media Rounds, updating media list. - Digital PR management to enhance visibility on relevant online media platforms. - Content management including press releases, by-lined articles, blogs and media queries. - Governance of PR agency for media monitoring and opportunities. - Developing and strengthening professional relationships with media and other influencers. - Manage speaking opportunities at industry forums and award nominations for the company Crisis management. Requirements: - Proven working experience in public relations required. - Strong relationships with both local and national media journalists. - Exceptional writing and editing skills. - Reasonable experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. - Crisis handling Desired Candidate: - UG – any course from a recognized and reputed university - PG – Mass Communication / Journalism / Marketing - Earlier working experience in media handling either on client or agency side in healthcare or pharma - Strong media relations and understanding of the sector and media universe.
